The Rising Sun Isleham is situated in a small village in the fens between the horse racing town of Newmarket and the City of Ely in cambridgeshire, It is a very picturesque village with lots of nice scenery and wide open spaces. The village has a population of approximately 2,200, there are cricket and football teams and an all weather surface for tennis etc. and a children's playground. There is a pre-school playgroup and a primary school catering for four and a half to eleven year olds.The pub itself has had a recent renovation with a new beer garden area, redesigned seating, plasma screens. The main bar expands the full circle of the pub with pool table and area for seating at one side and seating area with events area leading out to beer garden, also the restaurant is around the corner in a separate room which joins with the end of the bar.
The owners are Claire & Patrick Pierce whom welcome any new faces to sample there hospitality. They are open for bookings and corporate events in the restaurant and also offer a range of sporting events including the full sky sports package with Prem Plus with free pool on tuesday.
